Rear Bumper for JK
« on: July 24, 2010, 08:14:18 PM »
So we did a little run at McLean today and my JK did some parts shedding (apparently it is molting season).

I am now in the market for a new rear bumper as my old one is now going to be held on with a ratchet strap until I can get something figured out.

Soooooo.......just throwing out for opinions what is the best route:  custom fab or buy.

I am not really interested in a big beefy tire carrier, I am gonna stay with my 32's for at least as long as they last (hopefully a couple of years), but I don't want to close the door on adding a carrier later.

So what do all you wheeling experts think?

Oh yeah and I busted my license plate bracket........isn't plastic wonderful!!

I need a new rear bumper too - courtesy of the last run to PC. Maybe we can do a group buy.  ;D

To be honest, I've been looking long and hard at the AEV rear bumper.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
