Haha, well, I read somewhere the device is something like $2-$3k, so....I'd much rather put that money towards other parts.
I picked up the Dorman part (which unfortunately has an improperly drilled alignment hole), which was $82. Versus the cheapest I found the Mopar part from Chrysler was $401 up here in Canada. So I figured I'd be ahead even if I had to pay a dealership to re-time the cam sensor.
Thankfully though, I followed this thread, and the Jeep started no problem, and sounds like it's running great:

Bonus: had to pull the old spark plugs to make it easy to turn the crank to align the tone ring, so I gapped and installed the new ones at the same time. Another "routine maintenance" item ticked off on the list....almost done!
