got a lil' vibe in the ZJ, think i need to drop the tcase a bit.  was just going to use washers and longer bolts.  that should be fine eh?  the actual 'drop kit' is 40$, and i fail to see how those poly spacers are any better than actual washers.  and i'd rather start with say, 3/4" and add until the vibes stop instead of starting with 1.5".

any ideas?

Twice I broke bolts (+ a nutsert broke off inside the frame) with my BDS spacer kit dropping hard onto, and into, the skid plate - to be honest if I were to use spacers again I would go with a legth of 3/4 square stock instead, that way any glancing or dropping blows on the skid plate will distribute the shock amonst all the bolts on that side as opposed to just one - just seems a whole lot stronger than individual spacers - maybe overkill ?

maybe? the guy who balanced them had this sly smirk on his face and was laughing all evil-like and stuff. i thought it was just cause i was debating picking up a parts jeep...... guess not?????? hahaha

I could probably dig up some 3/4" plate to make spacers out of? Pm me if you want a couple of pieces. They just have to drop the cross member down a little do they not?

Sometimes a change in the driveline angles will cause tired driveshafts to start vibrating. They get used to running at the same angle over the years, and the change in angle cause of lifting throws them off.

Before you do the drop it might be a good idea to check your angles and make sure they are good. If they are, you might want to look at the driveshafts.
