XJ flairs

So it begins!!! I was putting on my new 33" trexus and decided I still needed a little more room after my 3 1/2" lift so I figured it was a good time to put on the TJ flairs I had. 2 hours later I had the grinder out (hehehe) said to hell with it, cut the flairs (no way could I get them to fit the way I wanted to) and put them on with 1/4" bolts.  Good enough for now. I am now in the market for someone who can redo my mistake along with doing the rear flairs (good luck with those!!!) I am pretty sure I will ditch the TJ flairs and look at putting bushwhackers on. After doing the front TJ flairs I am very confident that I have no idea when it comes to bodywork. I can just imagine if I tried the back with bushwhackers(shudder). Who is good at this sort of thing with a reasonable price? 98 xj 2 door

Ayup. Putting "Bushcrackers" on can be a PITA if you cut too much material in the rear and cut past  the pinch seam. The outer and inner fenders will seperate, and you will have to tack weld the already thin sheetmetal together. . I had a lot of good help from someone who already did his girlfriend's XJ when it came to cutting/attaching the rears(Nathan-the rude one) and have confidently mounted 3 sets of Bushwackers since then. PM me if you need a hand or want to look at how mine is attached. I don't want any money , but I'm fond of coffee.

yup, they will leak like a mofo, trust me, I have cleaned the mud out of the back corners of the jeep.
I plan to seal them up with something and hope that it will work ok.
