CB's run $100-$200 and higher depending on make/model. The CB guy at the roadking truck stop is regularly recommended on this site. If you want to come out for a run, just look at our event boards. Invest in some front and rear tow points if you don't have them. A good tow strap without metal hooks is also required. Once you've got that, you'll be ready to roll. Come summer there will be unnofficial runs all the time. Just keep your eyes open!

Cheers and welcome.

the guy at road king has a couple sale items i saw around $80 mark.  the source by circuit city (google search will bring it up) has a couple for $79-$100 or so.  also radio shack is back in calgary at 2 locations so can google their site, radio shack canada.  i think it is radioshackisback.ca but not sure.

i bought one off ebay for $25 with shipping.  built a mount last week for $5.  4 foot antenna and "good" cable from road king was $85.  eventually i will replace the radio but the one I want will be a tad expensive.  other priorities first.

I'll be up for a stockish run too. I missed the St Paddy's day one. :(

Got pretty much all I need - Liberty with 3" lift, full skids, tow points, CB. Just need a group to show me some mild trails to begin with. :)

hey M0th.  incase you didn't know, i am Blackjeep from LOST, there was already a fiend there.  just posted yer pics for the antenna mount.

when i went on the St.P day run it was a blast.  one word of advice.  bring lots to drink if it's chilly out.  having the heater running on the feet means A/C is on to control humidity.  next day i was parched like a prune and felt like a hangover.
