Jeep Tj Axles with V8

Hey just threw in a Chevy 350 into my jeep and know that the axles need to be replaced to be able to handle this and get me the most out of my engine it was done at national transmission and i am just wondering what my options are for getting the top performance out of this engine and a good sturdy set of axles that wont break on me thanks.

For a v8 you want either a 9", d60, or chev 14 bolt.
The 14 bolt is the cheapest but the biggest and shouldnt really be used with less then 37's after a custom shave has been done under neath it.

A junk yard 60 should run around 2k if done yourself.

A 9" will run 1500-4000 depending on what you want.

A 44 would be the absolute minimum and would not hold up to much abuse behind a healthy V8.

On that note I'm selling my hyrid 9"/14 bolt. Super cheap too.

dynatrac or currie are good aftermarket but they are pricey. 

I also hear you can purchase the JK rubicon axels from mopar performance that are truly bolt-in and they are alot beefer that the TJ rubicon dana 44's.  they also come with lockers.  I would think a mild small block and JK diffs would hold up and would be the simplest

bone yard 9" you can look at ford trucks from mid 70's to 86  you want to look for one that has 31 spline axels  there is a tag on the drop out third member you can decode.

issue with junk yard 9' or dana 60's is the bolt pattern will change so you will need new rims, axel width.

other issues with build your own from boneyard is ..brakes, drive shaft, spring pockets, shock mounts, axel width,  off set of diff..ect
