Changing Tire Size.
« on: September 30, 2011, 03:39:31 PM »
I am thinking of changing my tires from LT245/75R16s to LT265/75R16s. I have a 2inch BB lift in my 2006 Rubicon. Any issues with the tire size change? Will I have enough clearance? Any rubbing?

as its only a minimal increase in tire diameter, you'll be fine.
DECEASED - 'Big Ben' (black '97 XJ) : ~9" lift - 35's - Ford 9" - 4.56 gears - armoured up - ...and a sound system that can annoy the hell out of Lemon-aid Jay!!
NEXT - Dark green '98 XJ to build up....

you are going from 30.5 to 31.6.
i would imagine as many have done, you could put on 33's with a 2"bb.

Count me in on that one! 2" BB and 33's gave me decent clearance for wheeling. Added a 2" BL later on.
