whats the easiest way to remove the cat? just weld a piece of straight in or is there a company that makes a catless downpipe?

On my  95 it was easy to get a piece of pipe the length of the cat with a flare on one end. Cut off cat, put pipe in and attach muffler.

If it is messed up, do it right and replace it. If you are looking for power gains, do a full exhaust.

Remove it, ram a rod thru it and break up the insides till they are small enough to fall out. Once its empty inside put it back in.
