XJ Envy, except the doors

Recently picked up a 1995 Cherokee Country for my wife to drive in the winter, and I love it! Incredible heat that makes me cringe when compared to the YJ, brand new winter tires, newish springs, maintained very, very well. No issues at all, except the doors.

The power locks only unlock the front two doors, rear door locks move but don't open all the way. The outside button to open the doors is a tease, basically impossible on rear doors and my wife's thumb is cramping up from the driver's door. It's bad enough that she is considering replacing it, only because of the doors, everything else is awesome.

Is this a common problem? Is there an easy solution? What is the worst case scenario?

The rods inside the doors use these fancy little plastic clips, and a little dab of white grease. Its probably all hooked up inside just the rods are either bent for some reason, or the grease has dried up. If you pull the panels off the doors carefully so as not to break the clips on the back, then you should be able to see inside the doors to trouble shoot where they are sticking

Ya those gay little clips like to undo themselves too. I always use a little ziptie on them. Youll see what I mean when you look at it. XJ envy? Yes! Someday Ill get back into one... can feel it already.
