Predator axle shafts
« on: January 31, 2012, 03:25:44 PM »
Any one here used Predator axle shafts from the gear center on there rig? Looking to beef up the D44 instead of forking out the $$ for a D60. Haven't broke a factory shaft yet but when i put the locker in i figure i might run into some problems.

Jenssen's wife bought him a set of Predator chromoly shafts to be used in his  Dana 44 from the Gear Centre. He's got a front E-locker and abuses the crap out of his Jeep at competitions . They are reasonably priced and have a good warranty ta boot.

The 10 Factory shafts at Northridge are better bang for your buck (atleast for D30 shafts)

The Predator axles are awesome! I used to break 44 front shafts on command in competitions, the new axles have taken a metric tonne of abuse. The gear centre asked me to abuse them and I have,..

I give them an A+++++

The only failure I have had since the chromies was a u joint that was a "super strength" , please buy the gear centers spicer " X" joints or CTM's they are the only ones that will hold the abuse the axles will take.

If you have any questions on quality feel free to PM me!!
