4 inch AEV duel sport lift
« on: April 09, 2013, 01:01:37 AM »
I've looked a ton of different lifts and AEV is one you don't hear of very often. It got a good rating in Jeep magazine, has anyone had any experience with AEV duel sport lifts. I want to put a four inch one on my 2010 rubicon unlimited

I've heard nothing but good things about AEV lifts - from people that want a mixture of streetability and trail use. For the money, you can get a top-quality lift that is more oriented towards serious crawling....but that's not for everyone.

As an example - AEV uses control arm relocation brackets instead of adjustable control arms. This means that a rig with their lift will probably ride smoother on the road...but it will give up some clearance in an off-road situation. The question that you have to ask yourself is this - what do you want your rig to do?
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

I run the AEV 4.5" on my JKU.Great riding lift kit, I drove all the way Indiana when I attended the JKX 2012. Felt kind of out of place when I got there as the majority of the JK's were running EVO suspensions. I agree with w squared you have to sit back and be honest what your plans are for your plans are for your Jeep.
