Water Pump
« on: August 30, 2013, 05:54:46 PM »
Gee.....it sure you be nice if parts would last a little longer. Replaced the water pump 2 years ago and now the bearings are loose as a goose and I'm going to have to whack another one in there. Of course this crap always happens at the beginning of a long weekend so the chances of finding a part are probably going to be limited. Grrrrrr.

Well.....found a pump. Flushed the daylights out of the entire cooling system since it was all apart. Added new coolant......got a nice big ol' air burp during warmup and lots of heat coming out of the interior vents....engine temp. steady at 96C. Fingers cross this one hangs in there better than the previous unit.
