Jeep TJ would stick out worse than a transvestite hooker at a stampede breakfast
Ever try to get parts in South America ? Probably easier to get transvestite parts than jeep, not that there's anything wrong with that,

Should also work on your tan before departing

Serge you are a very twisted sob. ;)
I vote Toyota as well. Mostly because you must be able to get better mileage with a yota over a 4.0. Although you're already beating me by 150 kms.

If you wnat to have an exciting trip, plan to travel through Texas and cross the border at Nuevo Laredo. If you don't have guns and drugs when you arrive at the border crossing, the federales will provide you with some to make the next portion of your trip less dangerous.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

And I put this on the bucket list.

I suggest that you update your life insurance before updating the bucket list...but yes - it's a good choice for adrenaline junkies!
