Mine stays in first gear. Once a year it shifts into second... Odd I guess. I like the second shift too, stays in first but shifts up when needed. I like it in 4-low.

You can wire an AW4 on toggle switches so you can hold a gear if required or you can buy a paddle shifter set up off a guy on pirate4x4.com that allows manual shifting or for the ecm to take control

yup ive almost ordered this shifter, I think its RADdesign or something like that, he has a few different option now. the transgo kit is $99 bux
