Wanting to buy a TJ (found)
« on: September 09, 2015, 11:44:34 PM »
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a TJ and there seems to be a lot of junk out there. I have a list of preferences as follows but they are not written in stone.

- 2003 or newer
- Under 200k
- 4 liter (mandatory)
- Automatic
- Rubicon
- Dana 44 rear
- hard and soft tops
- NO RUST (Mandatory)
- no rips or tears in seats (mandatory)
- Stock or slightly modified
- must have a matching back seat (Mandatory)

Again these are preferences, but not an absolute must unless stated. My price range is $7500 - $11,000. But don't try to  sell me your 4 cyl 97 TJ with 200k for $11,000 cause it aint gonna happen.

Serious buyer with cash in hand.

Might want to look in BC or out of the U.S. especially if no rust is mandatory. More cleaner options.

I actually picked up an 02 Sahara in Edmonton for $9500. It has 57000 original k's on it and all of my mandatory requirements plus air and cruise. Needs some minor TLC but nothing I can't handle. Going to put a 3" "street" lift on it with 31's as it will be 99% a daily driver mostly by my wife.
