Hello CJA
« on: March 02, 2016, 09:18:08 PM »
Hello, I'm thebtm aka Brad, I am an active member of Jeep Junkies forum and someone suggested I come over here and join up, so here I am ^^.  There is no introduction sub-forum and I am kind of used to saying hi. I have had my jeep for about over a year now. I have done some minor modifications to it. Been out on a few runs as well which I find very relaxing and one of the best ways to reduce stress.

hopefully meet you guys some time.

Welcome to the forum Brad.
We have monthly meetings at the Austrian Canadian club and you are more than welcome to come and see what we are all about.
The meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month and start at 7:00 but a few guys/gals show up around 6 for dinner and a drink beforehand that you are also welcome to join.
Hope to see you there.

Welcome Brad.  Glad you made it on.

As mentioned, feel free to come out to a meeting.  Feel free to take part in any of the open runs on here as well.

We aren't as active as Jeep Junkies is for traffic on the forum, but there are a lot of guys on here that have been in the Jeep world for a long time and can give you some real straight up good advice.

Just a warning though... a few of your fellow Langdoner's can be a little cranky so if they give you a ribbing on a question or comment don't take it personal...must be something in the water.

Hush. There are already too many cacti around here. Don't go giving those folks any ideas.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Every time I go to Langdon I seem to hear banjos in the not too far distance.

That's right Vince. If the wind is juuuuuuuust right you can hear the banjos coming from Okotoks.
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.

Well... I haven't seen a black jeep with jeep junkies decal like mine in Langdon yet... (sorry, I know this is the CJA page but can't hide from the truth) ><

And yes, I wave a lot when in town.

Thank you for the welcome to the forum.
Hopefully meet some of you soon. Others I have met through where I started out.
