I want to put a couple LED pods on my front bumper. If I hard wire them into the fog light plugs, will I have issues running them without a relay?

there should already be a relay set up to run the stock fog lights but as for current draw you may want to trace back to be sure that the relay is going to be sufficient for your purposes.

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers
Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
