wierd pcv system

Hi there. I'm fairly new to the jeep world (under a year), but I've been working on cars for a while. So I wanted to ask, is there any trick to the old pcv systems, like on my 87 xj? It seems to get a lot of fuel in the oil, which may be due to excessive blowby from the engine having lots of miles on it, but I was wondering if there was a pcv solution for this? I removed the valvecover and cleaned out those reed valve things, and it seemed to help, but I'm still getting gas in the oil. Is there anything else i can do?

Gas in the oil isn't PCV, it's a worn engine - fuel getting past rings during compression stroke. With blowby, you get oil where it's not supposed to be, not fuel. On the 4.0 you'll see oil in the air filter - that's blowby.

Are you really getting fuel in the oil? Like, is the oil level rising? If you are just smelling fuel in the oil, that can be normal.
