Volvo 240 Exhaust

so, my toon of a "friend" sez the volvo he's got ('79) has 3 mufflers.  i think he's a toon and only has a cat, resonator and muffler.  so i go over to fix, and embed hot metal shavings in my chest (nice scar, kinda sexy)  cutting the junk off with sawzall, then i cut muffler down and take off.   the line has a break in it before hand.  after i patch all of holes, weld on a piece of flexipipe and tip, it still sounds like a british v-8, just wrong, loud as hell.  i got fumed at him tonight and told him he and his car is a waste of time, and that he didn't even invite me in for pizzas afterwards.   selfish a-hole, this happens almost every time...his ## is about to get deleted from my fone!, i didn't even get the $$ out of him...$90/ hr avg. shop wage *.5 = $45 because we're outside*2 because he's a moron= hey, lookee here...$90/hr!

i could have made 360 buxx or so offa that tool.

so, does the piece of crap have 3 mufflers?

can anyone show me a schematic about this?

I had an 80 240 it only had one muffler... but if you really wanna know I can probably find out.
