So, I finally installed my lift this weekend. Ended up with about 5" out of this 2.5" kit, so I'm expecting it to settle.
Of course, I got excited and forgot to take the before pic and exact measurements.

Anyway, above you see where I'm at. After reading on here, I decided to remove the rear track bar and so far so good. I have noticed a little bump steer when both front tires hit a hard edge at the same time, like an expansion joint when going over a bridge. I do have the track bar mounted in the top hole of the relocation bracket though. Couldn't get the rear brake line off, so I just bent the bracket for now. I have more than enough hose now anyway.
I do have a couple questions for a few issues.
1. Steering wheel is off 1/4 turn. Will there be enough adjustment to fix this? Steering is otherwise great and tracks perfectly. Get an alignment anyway?
2. Transmission pops out of 2nd and 4th gear. The rod seems to be binding somewhere since the transfer case drop. Is there a fix other than bending the rod? When I dropped the TC, I noticed some bumps on the frame. Can I grind these down so the pucks sit closer to the frame? I'll try to grab a pic to show what I'm talking about. I already know a CV DS would eliminate the transfer case drop in the first place...
So, going to get my tires mounted right now. I'll update pics in a bit. Thanks in advance for any tips on the problems.
