Hey
My buddy and I are going to be installing a RE 4.5" Superflex lift onto his
97 TJ. I was just wondering if anyone had any hints for installing this
lift.
Thx

LOTS OF PENETRATING LUBE. soak the bolts for days and it will be a lot less stressful

anti-seize all bolts and threads. use blue loctite on the jam nuts.

I am gonna mention the obvious measuring the height of the garage door and with any job, make sure you have all the tools necessary, sucks when you have to stop in order to get a tool. freaking Torx bits and deep sockets always get me!!!

Patience.....my roomate and i put my 4.5" RE lift on my 97 TJ out in our garage in august...took us 17 hours and alot of beer drinking..hahahah....plus a night to do the SYE...Don't put the control arms on backwards or upside down(the grease nipple)...
Our biggest problem was starting to bolt something up and realize something else had to be done first, we were following the instructions but would get a little anxious and miss one or 2 steps.
