TJ Headlight problem
« on: December 30, 2006, 02:58:36 PM »
Hey, my headlights are funky in the wiring, and won't turn off. The bright symbol also lights up on the dash and doesn't turn off, even when the brights aren't on and the car is off. I resulted in just unplugging my headlights from the system, but the dash is still saying that the brights are on.... Any help before I have to keep recharging my battery everytime I want to leave the house?

Thanks

-Sean

find your daytime running light module and unplug it.  most common cause of this problem.  you can usually find it on the rad support, inner fender or firewall.  it's a black box approx 2 inches square and one inch high with one oval connector going into it.
