Jeep Door lock Jamming

anyone know anything about fixing a door for a jeep? I have a 1990 YJ and i fixed my door handle, but everytime i shut the door fully the lock wont unlock, then i have to open the door up to fix it, any ideas? maybe someyone could take a look at it iono.

Probably a bent rod.  Take the door handle off and the interior and have a look.  Should be an easy fix for you.
`48 CJ2A, `54 CJ3B, `97 TJ, and 03 WJ...batting close to .500 when it comes to jeep models owned vs. jeep models created.....

yah i fixed the bent rod, but im not sure if the lock rod was bent, i guess it could have been, I will look at that, is that the most common thing that will happen?

i just find that once it is locked i cant unlock it its weird, anyways il try.

I got the Inside door handle working, But now the outside one is very loose and shot, doesent even open at all now, Only from the inside, I could use someone who knows what they are doing. Hehe
