My buddy is looking for a good shop to have a 2000 Dodge dakota V8 rebuilt, Any Ideas?

He's got a V6 in his truck now but wants to swap in a used V8 out of a dakota or Durango. I'm not sure if its a 4.6 or not. If any one has a dakota or durango V8 engine let me know as hes still looking for the engine. he just wants to get the one he buys rebuilt before he puts it in, that way he doesn't get it in and then find out its a dud.

Ahh, I see. I'd recommend he avoids the 4.6 then if he can. Parts are expensive and its not a very durable motor.
