It sounds you have the same issue I had. Their is two seal per side. The one that is leaking is most likly the inside one. It can be a real pain. The secound seal is between the bearing and the brake backing plate and will cost you a set of bearings to go with it. They are press fit onto the axel and will probably get destroyed tring to get the bearing off. Modern motors keeps a ready supply of the bearings and seals your after. When you go to install the inner seal carfull not to put it in to far and I use a socket with an extention that is close to the inside diameter of the axel to gently tap it in.
