I love the extra 25' because i have had to do a 170' pull. The 8274 may be slow at load and I have been there many times as well but the winch will just keep pulling and pulling and not overheat. I know a guy that is using a 40 year old 8274 and it works great.

In my mind, the only winch to get.

Finally, I think we have hijacked this thread enough, now to find another thread to hijack

Also that fast no line speed really help when you try driving out while you are winching and catch some traction...

150' of cable and a strap, and had zero problems with overheating.
