 >:(  I guess parking a vehicle with a for sale sign on it on City streets is illegal.  Parking bylaw section 3(2).  $40 for the stupid taxman.

I'd fight it if the vehicle was strictly parked and not parked "being displayed for sale"...    it's all about interpretation, but I believe the ones that are parked specifically to be viewed for sale would be ticketable, but one that is being driven and parked in a normal manner isn't being "displayed for sale".  They don't define it in the bylaw, so it is up to the interpretation of the enforcement officer and the judge, but I'm sure there are precedents.

Just my $0.02... from dealing with the red tape a few times :D

x2 on fighting it.  I got a ticket for parking the wrong way on a two way street, in front of my house.  I was inside basically 10-15 min with the engine running.  I was able to prove it was pretty unreasonable to get ticketed for that.  Good luck.

I'm sorry to say it... but the canadian justice systems are shat....specially here in edmonton..

We had our truck written off because some guy decided to turn right from the left lane when its a right lane - curb only type deal.. Stupid part is.. we got a dangerous driving ticket because some dude up in an office building said our truck was loud.. on top of all that the guy who made an ILLEGAL lane change/turn... did NOT receive a ticket... and the cop said she didn't believe us cause we're the youngest... LOAD OF B.S ... >:(

Thats my Rant...

OH and fight the ticket... because the justice system SVCKS! :)
