Anyone travel to Edmonton on a reg basis or heading that way?
« on: November 07, 2008, 09:23:54 AM »
Hello,

I have a couple items that I wouldn't mind picking up from Edmonton but I'm not heading out that way until mid Dec.
Someone from EJC is selling some 2" spacers & front springs..
I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if anyones travels that way on a regular basis or if anyone plans to head that way in the near future?
It doesn't have to be immediate, just in the near future..
Thanks for reading!

In addition to this... I have no use for these springs..so....
They're the V8 front springs from a ZJ, they are yours to take or I'll just throw this up on this board for free once I have them in my possession.
Thanks!

use the stock front V8 springs in the rear of your jeep, keep your upcountry springs and run spacers upfront. works good

If he does a version of the F<R swap like that hes gonna need shocks that are suitable for a 3" lift and rear sway bar upgrade or relocation bracket I believe.

So if I go with this set-up, I'll be sitting 2.75-3" in the front & 3" in the rear?
It won't look raked?
Thanks for the input!

leave the rear sway bar as it is. you can get extended links for it if you want, they are probably under 100$ at modern.  i wouldn't worry bout it though

I'm going to be hooking up with Trapper from ECO in the next few days concerning Christmas 4x4 Toy Run posters. Last year we met in Ponoka. It's possible he could get them to me and I could bring them to Calgary by mid-month. I was going to be on the Mclean run on the 15th but the Esks winning yesterday means both Esks and Stamps play on the 15th now. I'll check back here in a couple days on possibilities unfolding.

There are problems with the EJC site right now, mostly if you are on Shaw, but should be cleared by end of week.
