i know my dealership (big 4 motors) is still doing the 4 for 3 deal on anything on a 16inch tire or under. and we can get BFG tires. the kicker is we have to mount and balance your tires, so we do make some money on them.
personally ive had the goodyear mtr's for a long time and they work well on the street, ice, snow, light dirt, and very well in the rocks. but, they suck in the mud.
those MT MTZ look and seem to work awesome, especially in a 33inch size on a jeep.

To replace the the Trxus I have now $245 (Originally $190)

the interco tire thing i believe was very recent.  i got my 36" iroks from Modern for 253$ a tire.......   i thought that was pretty reasonable, and a set of mickey thompson baja ATZs (much smaller though at 245x75r16) for 190$

i was gonna go with BFG but i couldn't find em decently priced newhere. Canadian tire wanted 240/tire (for BFGs)

think bottom line is tires suck. they are expensive lol

How much are a set of km2's going for???
Hopefully they arent as much as the original krawler tire.... i dont wana spend that much!

Any reviews on how the KM2's perform on ice & snow?  I wasn't overly impressed with my krawler's until they were sipped and mounted on beadlocks.

BFG is still makes the Krawler's when ever supply runs low.

Wow, both of you had problems.

The Trux's are over rated, and possibly the worst tire.

Just got back from Canadian tire....
Got a quote for (5) 33x12.5x15 BFG KM2's including mounting, balancing and warranty. They dont have them
in the store... I want to find a set to look at before I buy them.
After trying to figure their technical financial writting I think they work out to being $232 each.
Total being $1401

Here is a link to the BFG website that talks about the tire.

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/promo/km2/popPlayer.html

I have searched/questioned about the tire on the web/forums and nobody has been able to give me any really info because
they havent been out long enough.

To let you knew, I didnt know but Canadian Tire has an extra warranty that you can buy ($7 tire). It doesnt matter whether its a tire that they regularly
have in stock/order or its a specialty tire you can get this warranty. If you damage the tire in any way and it cant be fixed they replace it with a brand new tire (wish
I would have had that for my last sliced side wall), no questions asked. When buying tires that are $200+, $7 isnt such a big deal.

I'm running the M/T MTZ in 35x12.50-15 and for the limited time I've winter driven them they are OK. They are a year old and have worn 2/32 in 5000KM. I find the handling on the street great and the noise is not bad, much quieter than an old style BFG MT. Off road they like to be aired down to 8-10 PSI and they perform great there. They chew through mud like nothing else and rocks are no problem. I have not noticed any chunking or uneven wear in 16 months. They handle deep snow with ease, just the ice is not the best, but what is for an off-road tire? I want to go up to 37" and I might try the BFG KM2 otherwise they'll be Irok Radials or another set of MTZ tires.

I mainly use the CJ as a trail rig and summer cruiser, it's my toy and nothing else. It could easily do DD duties with those MTZ.

Impact: goto Jeepforum.com.  They have a whole section for tire reviews.
