Muffin, you ALWAYS say that.

Thats cause thats how it ALWAYS is... *sigh* I'm trying to move to Calgary then it will be more likely to happen haha.. but since I can't find any sponsor companies i'm hooped right now.. so if you can find a company to sponsor my Mechanic Apprenticeship i'll be down there in a hop, skip and a jump!!!  ;) but for the sake of not wasting posts i'll stop saying it.

I put a time in the original post. Meet at 9:30, head out at 10:00.
Hopefully that works for everyone. As for what trail I've only been on a couple trails at McLean so whatever the group decides is fine with me.

I don't have a winch yet but I would love to go. Is it mandatory that I have one?

A winch isn't required. Just don't be getting stuck a zillion times in all the mud holes or something.
Tow points on the other hand are a must.

winches are not a must but tow hooks and tow straps of your own
make sure your tow points are strong and are to the frame not the sheet metal

and if you get stuck you will NOT be left behind

mythbusters proved the who winch cable theory .. it may hurt a bit but it will NOT kill you nor cut you in half

theres not enough mass to the cable to have the momentum to do such damage

but yes alwasy good to be prepared for the worse
