Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?

Here she is as I found it

Here it is as I got it home.

When it came home I found the motor to be stuck, filled the cylinders with ATF and left it for five weeks and she cranked over right away tonight so now I'm hot and bothered to get it on the road. A few nights in the shop, plugs, fluids, and filters later and hopefully it will be good to go.  Spend the rest of the winter tinkering to make it a DD.

ah i like the fullsize jeep pickups, ah heck even the old waggoneers are kinda neat

my list involves finsih rewiring the fc, cut the back of the cab of and weld on a new one and strecth the frame slightly to acoomodate the box to fit back on. after that, inspection and drive er. oh and maybe some more tremclad paint.

if i have time then i should put the wiring in the commando back together and get that running gear going too...

I'm thinking a re-gear and some sort of traction aiding device is in order.  Possibly rock sliders as well..... and a new air freashener...... and oil change.
This is not 'Nam, this is wheeling.  There are rules.

On the list:
Outer axle seals
front anti-rock system
Thick coat of wax
maybe a tummy-tuck
little bit of lift
more wax
possibly a liner for the hard top
headlight covers
additional wax
will consider CB relocation
rear bumper
thinking about a new front bumper

all to be done sometime in between wheeling and adding a coat of wax.
