jeep tj stalling

i have a 97 jeep tj with a 2.5 and i can only drive for  a couple min befor shy bogs then drops to about 100 rpm then just stalls, if i wait 5 min it fires write up and gose for another minute or so. made for a very interesting ride from wiperious(spelt wrong but to lazy to fix) monday.

pull your codes first ryan.  throwing sensors at it will be expensive.  see what the code says first then go from there.  try the key three turn trick first. 
if it were you CPS it would crank then die right away.......

Fuel filter? Not enough flow.

it's not trowing any codes Johnny, and it could be the fuel pump but i need to start eliminating thing so i can find the problem

test fuel pressure and test the sensors before u change them

I had a similar symptom. Turned out to be my starter. Something to consider.

Sounds like a lack of fuel, either a weak pump or clogged filter, my 97 jimmy had the same symptoms and a new pump/filter solved the trouble.

Did you move your fuel cell into the back of your rig?  I remember you posting something about that a while ago...

ya i did but i never had any problems

oh and i forgot to add it started acting up after i washed the engine compartment (i stayed away from the computer)

i hope it's not the pump because i doubt jeepstuff is warrenting the things they sell after they closed
