I have always wanted to drive something with tracks, but I think you'd need more than one engine to take full advantage of it, or at least proper control of the speed of each track and the ability to have some of them go backwards while the others go forwards.. you know what, scratch those dinky tracks, can someone just get me a tank to play with?

those tracks are made for a QUAD not a sidekick .. but i gues they weight about the same

the tracks that are 26,000 are DOT approved but the quad ones are not so depends on what you use your truck for

why would you need more then 1 engine

the tracks run on your stock drive trains .. you turn your steering wheel and the tracks turn . you drive forward and they turn and so on

if it were one track per side from front axle to rear axle then you would need to change over to 2 seperate drive lines one for left one for right    because you would not be able to turn your front steering if it were like that
kinda like a tank

but it would be cool, not to mention the zero degree turning radius to have a skid steer. Hmmmm.... maybe I'll invent something like that and call it a Bobcat...
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.

I'd go one step further and install a bucket on it. Who knows, maybe you could sell them to constructon guys ;D

On the subject of tracks, I bet a truck with tracks and a rear locker steers real good... 600 ft steering radius?
