i have posted elsewhere on the net earlier, but i am a little less emotional now...a little less. Grrrr.

My summary...

1st period Hawks DOMINATED!!!
Leighton kept Philly in it.

The refs? BRUTAL and frequent calls against both teams. Unfortuantely, typical Flyer hockey consists of not having frequent calls ;)

2nd period:

Hawks dominate!!!!
Refs? better but not by much (both teams affected)


3rd period...FLYERS dominated the last 8 mins.
Refs finally back to calling it the way most games were called in the series.

MVP? Bad call. Niemi robbed Nashville, Canucks and Sharks but BEAT the Flyers. He was a rookie and he won the CUP.

36 of my almost 46 years alive, i have bled orange.

For those that are "hawk" fans, ask yourself if the Hawks played your "other" favorite team to get into the Cup or win the Cup, are you cheering the Hawks???:)

My loss sucks.

not a real hawks fan, im all habs. but since the habs did all the dirty work and ran out of steam, the flyers made it to the finals. they did make a show of it though. in all reality i wanted to see poor marion hossa get that damned ring, third times the charm i guess :D

I'm happy that the Hawks won it!

I'm also going to light a scented candle for poor lil Philly because they get an "A" for effort....and because my room stinks.
