Dirk,
It was nice meeting you. I love talking to other experienced offroaders from far away countries. Similar interests, but always different experiences and stories!

So, did you buy the rubicon?

well I was really doubting between the Silver 05 TJ and the Orange 05 Rubicon ... doubting so hard that I decided to buy an other Jeep --> a Silver Rubicon 04 :-)
So now I have the best of both worlds !!!

It is a 2004, but it is in MINT condition ... unbelievable: the engine is still shiny!!! never been offroad, just a BEAUTY .. and yes it is 2004, so it is only a 5 speed, both ith only 42000km, I don't care :-)

anyway, looking forward to showing it to the expert's eyes on the Show N Shine ...

Sunday July 18th - Timmy's Meet and Greet
« Reply #21 on: July 15, 2010, 07:57:22 PM »
Never too early to plan this weeks Meet and Greet!

This Sunday, July 18th @7:30PM at Tim Hortons - 1341 32 Ave NE (same place as last week - under the runway). There is a nice size parking lot at this location.

Be there! Some cool prizes! Possibly some more shades and the Jeep t-shirts? (if they arrive).  Will be cool in any case. Just be the first to answer a skill testing question to win.

Hint - the answer to the skill testing questions are in the "Build Ups" section of the forum.
Rich.

I will be there, and Dirk, I will be sure to return your rock sliders to you!

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

Rich - thanks for the shades. :)

Oh - and Dirk Diggler was from Boogie Nights. It was actually mentioned on the radio driving home. Heh.
