Anyone running Maxxis Bighorns???

Its just about time for new boots for the ZJ. I can get some Maxxis Bighorns for a good price, Is anyone running these?  If so what do you think of them? Thanks for any input.

I have been looking for a set of these for a while now, never been able to find a local retail shop that stocks them.

what size/price are you looking at? and most important is it local?

If so, I'm really interested in a set of these myself. How are they for balancing at highway speeds? Where'd you get them, and at what kind of price point (if you don't mind me asking)?

Those are them.
i bought the jeep with 4 of those on them. i flew down to Washington state and drove back.
At 70-80 mph, they were really well balanced.

When i got to Calgary, i had city issues at different speeds so i had them balanced with the air pellets. i did it at Calgary Muffler. Speak with Al.
i definitely liked the end result. i have done many variations of balancing over the years and i really like the http://www.counteractbalancing.com/

i than wanted to buy a matching spare. i used many internet resources and at the time National 4wd was able to come within $20 of internet prices. i ordered through Dean.

Unfortunately, they are really expensive.
if i needed 5 new tires, i would get Toyo opencountry mt's.

$245 a tire tax in. No mount or balance. for 33x12.50R15. size.   Or $265 for a 35x12.50R15

That is cheaper than the cheapest 33x12.5r15 toyo MT's I have seen..

Mounted the new boots today. Then had to make a parts run to Calgary tonight. Wow without any weights or magic balancing powder, the tires ran just about completely vibe free. Had to open up the rear fender a little but  a decent fit until I get ahold of some different wheels and open up the fenders more and add some tube flares.
