usually if there is someone around who can do the plating they can usually remove it for you for a minimal charge, alternatively if you have access to sandblasting equipment you can sand blast with aluminum oxide 120-180 grit, 120 will give you a pretty rough surface afterward, and you will likely see sparks for the first while while the chrome breaks down. 180 will give a slightly smoother surface but will take much longer to strip
But it may be worth your while to compare costs of stripping vs selling those and buying another set.
