Gentlemen, I'm sorry to thread jack but I'm in the market for some good winter tires. My tire guy recommended  me the blizzaks ws70's, but also theres this other brand of tire that apparently would destroy the blizzaks in snow&ice: Studded Jetzon Snowblazers... Im more inclined towards getting the blizzaks cuz i trust the brand, anybody got any other reccomendations?
i need to look at what brand my wife has on her Skyline for winter. They are the best tire i have ever experienced. Absolutely amazing!
i will check tonight.

When I had a Jetta, I had Nokian Hakkepalitas and they were absolutely amazing. I went through stuff with the Jetta going to/from BC that SUV's were having some major challenges with.  Now if they made something in the sizes we like to use on our Jeeps...
2004 TJ Rubicon 2.5" Cage Puck Lift
LT285/75R15 Trxus MT's
ARB Bullbar and Warn XD9000i winch
Garvin Wilderness Swingaway Rack
Cobra 75WXST CB, Yaesu FT8900 Ham
VE6PDB - usually on VE6RYC

I second the Nokian's.  We put a set of those on my wife's civic...they are amazing.  She use to swear by Blizzaks (she grew up in interior BC) and she said she likes the Nokian's better.
