So, last nite at about three in the morning, i taped my little bubba keg and celebrated. not st. paddy's day though. my jeep is finally finished. at one point i thought i was never going to finish it, but i did. rebuilt the axles, x-case and tranny. tore out the engine and milled the head for less turbulence and better airflow and while i was at it, rebuilt the engine (290 in a 258's body)added mild cam, and topped it all off with a K&N xstreme flow air filter (got rid of those damned slip yokes too) carpeted the tub in the back, wired in a decent cb setup and a killer tune box (wait until u see pics of this, you'll want one too) and topped it all off with some new wheels and tires and two renegade style cowl decal reading "ARCTIC FOX"
lotsa good stories, like when i was putting the axles back on, my dad was lifting the axle from the side, my brother from the other side, grandpa with the ratchet ready to bolt it all back together while in position, and me benching it from underneath. almost fell on me a couplea times, but wtf are you gunna do w/o a lift?!
