The Grande Caravan SE is $27995 plus $1400 on the Tower web site. How does the 2% over cost compare to that?
My son is in the market for one.
If what you've seen advertised as @27995 + 1400. It is likely pretty close to the msrp.
EXAMPLE ONLY:Lets say that caravan is msrp'd at 27995, the dealership might've paid somewhere around 24-25995 for that vehicle.
2% above cost is about $500 ish
You still pay the GST on the msrp = $1400
In the end you are saving about $1400
If there are factory discounts being offered to the dealership, we would pass them along.
Pending what chrysler is giving back,.. could quite possibly be another $2-5k off, up to 9300 off with the cummins, some of the trucks is a 7500 free hemi discount.
Again, this can only be offered if it's offered to the dealership. You can see there isn't much gross profit in for dealerships these days, since the restructuring. They rely of the manufacturers incentives.
