The trail project is completed under the direction of ASRD. The chain saw pants are a requirement  at their request.  We are actually removing very few trees and clearing a few stumps. I hope not to take down any mature trees just cut up some dead fall. The request for the chain saw pants and more extensive PPE has been a standing requirement on approved projects for a long time. Please bring them In the past we have been required to stop work on projects because we did not have the right safty gear.

Yea throw rocks at the guy with a chain saw!

Fortunately I have all proper ppe required. Though I have seen a chain saw tear off a foot while wearing chain saw boots....

TRAIL PROJECT!

It looks like we have approval for a short trail reroute on the trail to the falls.

When :  July 9th and July 10th if needed.
Where: Meet in the gravel pits Ghost  FLUZ 9:00.
What:  We need to clear a section of unused trail and close a portion along the river that has eroded and has a dangerous turn.
What do we need:  Winches, Chain saws, Shovels, Picks, Axes, Sledge hammers, Rakes
All participants should have proper personal protective equipment for this style of work.  Proper  boots,  cloves, Chain saw pants if using saws.
Please post up who can make it. A few trailers may also be helpful.  Many hands make light work.

Good to hear this is still a go Blair! I was able to grab my chainsaw, a couple wedges some extra bar oil and chains along with all my ppe gear over the weekend and hauled it all down here to Calgary. I also have access to a large pick that I can drag with me Im sure. I will be riding shotgun with the Mangerine fox this time as my XJ is still needing some pinion work.. but should be a good day :) See you guys at 9!
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

Yes 95 is the point across the road from the pit.

You will be a great help, bring some work gloves and we will find you a shovel to use.   ;D
