hey guys and gals need some help here

im going to build my own cargo rack thing for my tj and need a few suggestions.  i am going to use a light bracket like this one

and mount it like this for the front supports

the two supports im going to make a bracket from the frame up the back and the outside of the lights but need to fab up a hinge like this

so that the whole thing will tilt back so that i can remove the top ect. like this

im good at welding but would rather buy a hinge like this any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

go to home depot, rona or canadian tire and take a look at their assortment of heavy duty hinges.  You should be able to pick a couple off the shelf and bend and shape them as needed.

I'm looking for a cargo rack just like that. How much for you to build one and would you?

I was considering building a roof rack as well, those are some great ideas that I was trying to figure out how not to block tail lights or the liscense plate. What about just welding some steel tubing onto some angle iron, then cutting it into three sections???? I would like to see some pictures once you are done. Thanks.
