Painted fender flares on a Rubicon? You must have special ordered that from the factory - unless they've changed how they come for 2012. Looks sharp!
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

2012 jk's have the option for paint matched flenders. and... 3.73 axle gears are an option on the rubi's as well.

I can wrap my head around the paint matched fenders (even though it's not my thing.....), but I don't get putting 3.73's in a rubi :o

Nicely done Dan! Finally got the Rubi eh :D
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

This one is actually the wife's.  Likely won't be doing many mods to this one...though I am going to try and talk her into letting me take it out on the 26th.

Ya, I don't love the matched flares but they aren't the worst thing in the world.  3.73's were a big no...I wouldn't have let her buy the Rubi if that's what was in there.

Haven't forgotten Rob.  We have a long time friend of myself and my wife's that sells at Crowfoot, so that's why I went there.

Now I just need to convince the wife that I should trade in the Sahara for another new Rubi...

Yep has the new engine.  Has a lot more power. It actually sucks you into the seats a bit when you put the pedal down.

I don't have any experience with the old 4.0L but I have read a couple of reviews that have said the new engine feels like the old one for usable torque. According to any dyno graphs I have seen you have about 95% of the usable torque at 2000rpm then it pretty much stays flat.
