We ended up booking a last-minute vacay so I won't be wheeling tomorrow... too much to get done before we leave next week.  I may show up to have breakfast though...
Current project:

AEV 3.5" lift
33" Mikey Thompson MTZ
Smittybilt XRC front and rear bumpers
Warn VR800 winch

BUILT AND SOLD: Silver 2007 JKU (because they all look the same now anyway)

Slewfoot,

Based on Jamal's post above, I think we are to meet at 8 for breakfast and 'roll-out at 9'.

So, arriving at 7 may be a bit early unless you want to drink a lot of coffee... ;D

Jeff
Yuppers Jeff - I got that.  I also got that there will be a boatload of JKs at the same trough at the same time.

For a small fee I'll hold a seat for you :P  and the seat in my jeep reclines for that post-breaky nap :)

No problem slew,

From the looks of the JK forum, only about 8 are semi-confirmed for their run tomorrow (including Anton who is coming back to the dark side to be with us).

But, a nap after breakfast is always a good thing...

See you there,

Jeff

Great run, thanks to all the came out. I think everyone got the adrenaline going at some point during the day.

Sorry I took off in a rush, I was pre-occupied with the screaming death of my pilot bearing. I hope you guys had no problems pulling out that explorer and truck.

Jamal,

Great run! Going to need some more work to my rig (alignment and something up with abs).

Anton and I went and got the Explorer out that was in at least a foot of snow in a ditch on the wrong side of the road. Then we went and looked at the 2500. It was at least a foot deep in snow at the bottom of a short but steep hill. The bonehead we went to save wound up Anton's winch wrong from the Explorer recovery. So, the wire was screwed up so that we couldn't get it to work. Then when we told this guy we couldn't pull out his 3/4 tonne truck at the bottom of this hill in 'sugar'snow he freaked out on us. Serious jerk! So, Anton and I packed up and left. He had two familys out with him in  2500, and 1500 trucks and a stock Explorer all with basic AT tires and he was trying to go up a steep hill with a foot of snow with 3 inches of crust on it. When we asked him what he thought he was doing trying to do this he said he did it all the time when hunting. What a joke! This guy was a complete idiot!

Anton and I stopped at BPs for some nachos and I just got home 10 minutes ago (10pm).

Take care,

Jeff

Jeff you forgot few things

1. He was lying to us about how bad the trucks where stuck!

2. And when we said we can't pull him out he started swearing like we never helped him. I cant believe this guy. On othere note i wish we would have pulled that guy out of that spot but we did not have the right power to do it. And for the locatation it wa 2 dark for me to remember. Only things o remember was when we came out of 4 corners and stoped just befor the gravel road we took a left up the hill, it was about 5-6 min drive doing 30-40K/H. then there was a big open area on the left and you could see the trail srats when you drive in there.

3. About the winch, that is my own fault, i should have done it my self when we where finished with the first SUV, i let some one else that i don't know play with my rig! i learn from mistakes i would not let that happen again.

Anton.

P.S the run was great, Jamal did a great job on the run, Well all came out in one piece. looks like we all have some minor things to fix after few of this hills we climbed. I hope Jamals clutch is going to be an easy fix!

Any one wants some vids or pics send me you emails and i will send them all.
