Hey everyone,
I assume this is where you post introductions.  I have been a member (by which I mean I've been signed up) of the forum for awhile, and have looked around some, but now that I have a Jeep, and live near Calgary, I figure I should be a little more active.  I'm not new to wheeling, have been doing so since I was fairly young.  It's an addiction I've tried to get out of a couple of times, doesn't work.  I give up.  It's like horses for me, it's sort of my life!!

I lived up in Camrose for awhile and was quite active on NA4WDA, but I sort of bowed out when I sold my CJ7 that was a project (Didn't run, body was rusted off, etc) because I had to move.

I now live near Airdrie and work on a ranch in Balzac, about 2 seconds off the QE2.  I'm not new to the area, I've lived in or near Calgary off and on for a few years.  I however have no friends here other than my 17year old brother. 

My rig is a 98 Cherokee, 2 dr, 5spd sport with the 4.0L.  Amazing shape considering it was $450.  Will probably start a build thread soon enough.

The real question about is... What color is your xj?

It's bluish purply.  I think it was originally blue but now it's purpley.  It'll get painted eventually, but this will be a slower project.  My emphasis is more on the effectiveness rather than the cosmetics.

And no, it's not Barney purple...

So...I have the chance to pick up my dream truck (in SUV form)...it's an 88 Ramcharger...unfortunately I would have to trade the XJ.  I'm not sold yet, I really love this XJ, but I"ve always wanted one of those trucks.  I suppose that would put me out of the club?

Lmao...No, a 1st Gen 12V is my dream truck.  Unfortunately, I never quit playing cowboy, so I can't afford one.  I love that body style though.
