June 18 -- Sunday -- Fathers Day Family Fun Goofy Hat Run

It is exactly what it says. Open run with a family attitude. Bring your wives, children, dads, anyone in your family, Wear a Goofy hat, bring your super soaker, frisbees etc.

My kids got into the spirit of things and helped build a special goofy jeep hat for this run. It's awesome and they spent some crafty time last Sunday with me helping to build it.

This should be a great day fun, wheeling and time with my kids.

Bad news for the single fellas.  The infamous single female co-worker got a better calling this morning at the office.  An old friend of her's whom I've met and we've jointly named "Sports Guy" calls her up with two tickets to some function in Edmonton Saturday night, something taking going on at a joint called Rexall Place.  Not clear on the details but my co-pilot bolted in a second leaving me alone.  It also means the drive down on my own and not knowing a single soul at the other end when I get there.

I'm a bald-azzed rookie of very limited experience with a great deal to learn and don't want to put anyone out, hold anyone up or make a nuisance of myself.  I'd still like to come along, watch and learn.

Co-worker chick promises to ride shotgun next time.
I'd rather be dragging a club than clubbing in drag

Red Dog. Yes, come along for the ride. You won't hold any one back, this will be a slow easy day, perfect for the beginner, Just a fun laid back day is the plan. We won't cover much trail and there will nothing hard or intimidating. And please feel free to make a nuisance of yourself, you'll fit right in

If you or anyone else gets lost or needs some help on the way down give me a call on my cellphone, 512 3073. It should be on by 8 sunday morning and you will probably be able to get me untill shortly before 10.Cell coverage is poor by the campground store.

I'm going to have to back out of this one.  Something unexpected came up.  I'm a little bummed, but I'll have to catch the next one.

Actually, the route planned is all firm bottom.  If you do it right you'll only have to clean the sidewalls.

It's a good intro to the Jeeeps climbing ability and a great view from the top.

We should be at the store just a bit before 10:00, looking forward to an "easy" run.  When you get my age, you don't look for trouble in the mud.
I HATE mud and snow!!!!!!!
