So, cutting up my poison Spyder corners to fit around the tube fenders. I have to fill in and weld up the drivers side fuel door, and cut one in the passenger side. I'm also planning to get the tailgate bolted in, and the supports welded in.

Running the exhaust, and getting it to dump out the back, the po had it dump in front of the rear axle, right in the brake lines and housing. And, my FI-Tech showed up!! So I'll be running a new fuel line for that. I also picked up a 700r4, and ordered the adaptor for the Dana 300. Figured I may as well get it done while the body is off.

A little cut, patch and weld, and YJ corner armour becomes CJ corner armour!

And same for the sliders. No weld tho!! Just some cut and grind. And now off for a textured powder coat. I've had the textured coat on a ARB bumper for the last three years, and it's stood up better than anything else I've ever used.

YJ tub becoming a CJ tub. Brackets welded in, hinge holes drilled. Mocked up, and fits like it belongs. I'll be drilling a couple pieces of 2" flatbar, tacking nuts to it, and putting it in the body channel, for a bit more hold and strength.

New springs hung up front. And boomerang shackles ordered. Always something else, isn't it?

And on to the rears. And of course, bolts breaking, bolts not moving. And then a jeep buddy showed up to give a hand, and broke down. So we worked in his jeep instead

Rear boomerangs and rear bumper. Done. Pulling transmission and transfer case Friday, and hopefully installing the new set up over the weekend. Then time to drop the body back on.
