Ok so here is my thoughts,
I know y’all like to wheel - that the Jeep part
I know y’all like to eat- that the Chili part
I know many of y’all like my pie - that the bourbon part (no booze on the trail after all)
So here is my proposal.
There must be one or two of you that think you make a pretty good Chili so I was thinking we set a run for sometime mid March (dates to be determined) and we have a Chili cook-off and have the folks on the run judge. You don’t have to prep it on the trail just bring it and a pot to heat it in...I will bring my camp stove (don’t worry it’s plenty industrial enough to get things bubbling quickly).
I will supply dessert (bourbon pecan pie) and I think I have a Chili recipe that is worth a spoon or two.
We do a little morning run have some laughs and stop for a good old fashioned Chili cookout.
Post up tell me your thoughts, can you make it and when, will ya bring a pot of goodness (no vegetarian Chili it’s against my religious beliefs) and if yer coming how many folks will be there.
I can bring the stove, dessert and some bread type objects for the Chili.
Well???
