Had a feeling it was your jeep though as I seen the pictures in a previous post about tube fenders.

I would like to tag along if you don't mind. If I can get my motor mounts fixed by then. I am willing to pay and bring the beer if anyone can help me take the busted bolts out of the block. I already got a few tow hooks that I need installing as well for the rear bumper. As for mclean, my heep is completely stock but I just love getting it stuck. I still dont have a winch, cb radio. But I did invest in tow ropes, tree saver and shackles.

If you guys/gals want to baptize another n00b, give me the nod.

I would like to hook up with you all as well,  I took a drive down awhile back just to see where it was, but put the brakes on at trail head - not familar with the area - I think the McLean store you mentioned meeting at is on the road in off hwy#66 right, for those asking directions go past Bragg Creek on hwy 66, maps at http://www.aurs.org/maps.shtml

hope to see you there ....

Just hit 22x from south calgary (McLeod Trail) and head west, stay on the road till u hit Kananaskis Country sign (on your right side), pass the office (right side), pass the camp (left side) and within 5 minutes you will hit Mclean turn-off on left side. Take that until you hit the first building on your right. I do highway 8 to highway 22 till i hit bragg creek, then I do 22x.

Does anyone know what bridges have been fixed out there? I haven't been to Mclean since about a week or two after the flooding.

The bridge to fisher east was out I believe and so was the one to rut alley I think it's called or w/e. and then the bridge across from the second entrance or exit to fisher east where the campgrounds are. I know where these are at in my head, but whether or not you do now from my directions is only a guess. lol

Hi, I'm new...

I haven't done any wheeling out here yet.  Looking for a chance to see some scenery and do some light trails. I just have a stock XJ with front hooks and a factory t-case skid on 30" Sport Kings.  Most likely (98% chance) my wife and little guy would be coming, so just looking for an introduction to some local light duty trails on a short first trip.

On monday, how long will you guys be out?  Are you by any chance doing 2 shorter trails, so I would be able to maybe do one of them, and then head back to Calgary.  My boy is only 2, and he loves the Jeep, but 8 hours in the car seat doesn't work for him.

Thanks.

Geoff

McLean doesnt really have any "long" trails per se. But something easy, and not too long (likely two trails) is what I was planning.

But it'll all depend on who shows up.

Oh, and for the little guy, it wont be 8 hours in the car seat, it'll be more like 30 mins or less at a time (depending on stuckage).

But there is always lunch!

Cheers
