Trails in Drumheller?

Going camping there next week, and was wondering of any trails out there and/or other stuff to do? Thanks.

i hear they have dinosaurs... might want to be careful. grizzly's can be a pain, but i wonder what a fumed of dino will do to you?

Unfortunately you are not allowed to wheel anywhere in Drum unless you own private land and even then, they dont like you to disrupt the hoodoos.  Ask Kevin from Highriders, he knows best about the area.

There's a pretty cool Dinosaur museum though... and thats about it.

The gentleman you want to talk to is Larry Duxbury.  He's the owner of the Hidden Valley Motor Sports Park and he has access to the private land directly adjacent to the park.  Have been out there a couple times and have always had a fantastic time...simple follow Larry's advice and stay within his boundairies - no sense ruining a good thing, or getting hurt!  Some of the trails are crazy fun, but watch out for the coulees as you can get 200 - 300 ft drops (no amount of roll cage is gonna help with those  :wink: ).  Unfortunately I've misplaced his contact number, but I know the town office was able to supply his number when we were first organizing a run down there.  Hope that helps...cheers. :lol:
